If you’re looking for DRM-free music on the cheap, Amazon’s MP3 store maintains a twitter stream for their Daily Deal (older album for ~$2) and Friday Five (5 albums for $5 each).
I just started following this and it’s already my wallet’s least favorite twitter stream.
